When I was the proud owner of my very first camera, a Kodak Brownie Flashmite 20, Dad gave me little bits of advice.
For example: "Don't waste your film, son". My interest in photography may have laid dormant forever if it hadn't been for my Dalmatian
friend; a born poser!
Now, with my new sixteen valve turbo charged Canon, I still make mistakes. But I go back to square one, and try again. I'll always be learning.
My pictures are created using exposure, metering and lighting techniques, with very little post production.
If I can't get somewhere near in camera I'll usually just delete and re-shoot.
I foresee my journey around this learning curve to continue for as long as I have my eyesight, a camera and a
dog who'll do anything for a treat.
